This class will look at the practicalities of chaplaincy work.
September 17: Educational requirements for becoming a chaplain and working with outside clergy.
October 1: Striking a balance between paperwork and peoplework.
October 15: Planning a pastoral visit in a clinical setting and leading an interactive Bible Study, especially for those with cognitive and other challenges.
October 29 Self-care: stress and burnout
The class will be taught at Central Schwenkfelder Church and over Zoom.
