Interacting with other world religions is a greater concern in America than it has been in previous generations. Religions such as Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism have worship centers in all states and in many cities nearby. Public schools are observing the holidays of other religions. Christians are forced to intersect to an ever greater degree with those with different worldviews.
Interacting with other religions well involves being sensitive to those from other religious backgrounds but also needs wisdom to distinguish what must be presented in the Christian message for those within the church as well as those who are not.
In this one week seminar, we will be interacting with those who have connection with the main religions of today. We will also be addressing atheism and agnosticism.
Leading our section on Islam will be Dr. Andrew Brunson. He will also speak to us about persecution. Dr. Rob Arner will lead shorter sessions on living with Hinduism and Buddhism. We look forward to a guest instructor on living with Judaism. Several will present short sessions on living with aetheism and agnosticism.
